ImageGrab is built to do one thing without watching you do it. This policy explains, plainly, what the extension does and does not do with your information.

What we collect

Nothing. ImageGrab has no analytics, no tracking, and no servers that receive your data. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information or browsing activity.

How it works

When you open ImageGrab on a page, it reads that page's images locally in your browser to show them in the grid.
Images you choose are downloaded directly to your computer by the browser. They never pass through us.
ImageGrab only accesses a page when you actively open it on that page.

The optional ZIP permission

The Pro "Download all as ZIP" feature needs to read the selected images' bytes to package them. The broad host permission this requires is optional, requested only the first time you build a ZIP, and used solely to fetch those images for the ZIP on your own machine. It is never used to monitor your browsing.

Payments

The optional Pro upgrade is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. If you purchase Pro, your payment details are processed by them under their own privacy policies. ImageGrab never sees or stores your card details.

Permissions, briefly

activeTab / scripting — read the images on the page you're viewing, when you open ImageGrab.
downloads — save the images you select.
storage — remember your Free/Pro status locally.
extensionpay.com — check your licence for the optional Pro upgrade.
